Dehradun, March 23
The weeklong celebrations of Fraternity Week culminated at the Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Technology and Science here today. A large number of students participated in the cultural fiesta.
The programme began with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp by chief guest Raj Kumar, MLA Rajpur. It was followed by Saraswati Vandana and Ganesh Vandana.
Bhangra by Mandeep and Group and the Garhwali folk dance by Ragini and Group left the audience spellbound. The highlight of the day was a western dance.
The director of the institute, Prof SP Thapliyal, appreciated the enthusiasm and skills of students. He congratulated all his students and staff for their efforts and making the cultural week a succesful event.
